Sidney, Ohio, Journal, April 6, 1900
Mrs. Phoebe Shaw, born Gray in Greene County, October 12, 1826, died at Port 
Jeffersnon Thursday. In 1840, she was married to Samuel Shaw who died several 
years since. Seven of nine children survive.

Additional Comments:
Phoebe and Samuel Shaw were parents of Anna Shaw Clemens who married James 
William Clemens, born Oct. 22, 1840. Civil War veteran.
