The Canton Repository.  Canton, Ohio.  May 5, 1947.
Harry L. Archinal, veteran executive of the Canton Hardware Co., died at noon 
today in his home at 1527 Yale ave NW.  He was 79 in April and had been 
bedfast several months.
	Associated with the hardware company since 1892, Mr. Archinal retired 
from active participation in the business Jan. 1, 1946, but retained his place 
on the board of directors.
	He started with the firm as a clerk when the store was operated by the 
late J. B. Brothers and Johnson M. Sherrick and was located on the southwest 
corner of 2nd st and Market ave S.
	When the company was reorganized he elected a vice president and made 
manager of the factory supply department.
	Mr. Archinal was a member of First Presbyterian Church.  He leaves his 
widow, Mrs. Mary H. Archinal of the home, and a daughter, Mrs. Richard Hawk of 
Congress Lake.  The body is at the Arnold funeral home.
