Canton, Ohio. July 1, 1897. Frank Archinal is dead. Such is the intelligence, which shocked, by its suddenness, the numerous friends of the young man shortly before the noon hour Thursday. Two weeks ago last Tuesday he went home from the Wrought Iron Bridge company, where he has been employed as draughtsman for the past eight years, complaining of illness. He complained of his heart palpitating, but serious results were not anticipated at the time. He improved in a few days, and was able to be around. Sunday a decline set in, and he grew worse until 10:30 Thursday morning, when he passed away. Dropsy of the heart caused his death. Mr. Archinal was one of the most popular young fellows of the city and held in high esteem by all who came in contact with him. He was 25 years of age on Christmas day. He was the son of William and Kate Archinal, and they, together with the three brothers, Harry, Charles and Will, and sister, Mrs. C. L. Oberly, will have the deep sympathy of those who were acquainted with his genial and generous disposition. The deceased was a member of the First Presbyterian church. And the pastor, Rev. Milligan, and Rev. Nau, of the German Reformed church, will officiate at the funeral services, which will be held at the residence, No. 209 Tenth street, Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock.
