The Canton Repository.  Canton, Ohio.  Thursday, October 28, 1943.
	Funeral services for H. Leonard Betz, vice president of Canton 
Hardware Co. for more than 40 years who died Wednesday in his home at 109 13th 
st NE, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Arnold parlors.  Rev. Clarence LaRue 
and Rev. Herman S. Sidener will be in charge and burial will be in Westlawn 
cemetery.  Friends may call at the parlors after 7 tonight.
	Mr. Betz, 76, had been a Canton resident since infancy and had been 
identified with the hardware firm for 62 years.  He had been at his desk daily 
until a week ago when he was stricken with a heart malady.  His widow, Mrs. 
Martha Cassidy Betz, survives.
