Deaths
Betz--In Canton, Ohio, on the 28th ult., Mr. Henry Betz, aged about 30 years. 
[Note ult. stands for the Latin “ultimo,” or last —a date last month]



Additional Comments:
Henry served in the Civil War as a corporal in the 115th Regiment, Ohio 
Infantry, Company E becoming ill and his father had to bring him home.  His 
widow Charlotte filed for a Civil War Pension in 1887; application # 315.127.
