The Canton Repository.  Canton. Ohio.  March 6, 1947.
	Albert F. Eicher, who resided for many years in Canton and Canal 
Fulton, died Wednesday night in the Mary Day convalescent home.  He was 79.
	Prior to his illness, he made his home with his daughter, Mrs. William 
Stapleton of Oneonta, N.Y.  He also leaves two sons, William O. Eicher of 
Canton and Harry V. Eicher of Maquoketa, Ia.; a brother, John J. Eicher of 
Canton; seven sisters, Mrs. John Tschantz and Mrs. Peter Gettle of Canton, 
Mrs. Ida Frantz, Mrs. Christopher Kuenzle, Mrs. Anna Kauffman and Mrs. Amelia 
Gear of Cleveland, and Mrs. Gerald Heabner in Florida, and five grandchildren.
	The body is at the Whitticar funeral home where Rev. Karl Koepke will 
conduct funeral services Saturday at 1:30 p.m.  Burial will be in Westlawn 
Cemetery.  Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday.
