                    Francis C. Best

    Francis C. Best, 77, who for 45 years resided at 1327 Rowland ave NE,
died Wednesday night in the Stark County Home Hospital.  He was a retired
tinner and painter.

    Mr. Best had been a Canton resident since 1902.  He was a member of
Crystal Park Methodist Church.  Survivors include two daughters, Mrs.
Martha Seacrist of Chillicothe and Mrs. Mildred Pesch, and four
grandchildren.

    Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Jack Funeral home with
Rev. C.B. Conn in charge.  Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery.  Friends
may call at the funeral home tonight and Friday from 7 to 9pm.
