The Canton Repository. Canton, Ohio.  August 12, 1949.
	Dover—Charles Gibbs, 71, 330 Cross st, Dover, proprietor of the Gibbs 
Chevrolet Sales in Uhrichsville, died at Union Hospital at 3:40 p.m. Thursday 
after a two-year illness.
	He was a life resident of Dover and a member of the Dover Grace 
Lutheran Church.
	He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Jessie Mae Gibbs; one son, Harold 
Gibbs of Uhrichsville; one daughter, Mrs. Stephen Takas of Dover; two sisters, 
Mrs. Luke Downey, and Mrs. Price Schooley, both of Dover, and two 
grandchildren.
