Jan. 12, 1893 Thomas MALONE b. December 22, 1871 Cyhoir Co., Cleveland, Ohio d. January 02, 1893 Alliance, Ohio His Obit: Thomas Malone, aged twenty-one, was instantly killed by a yard engine in the Fort Wayne yards in Alliance last Monday night. Malone was unmarried and his parents reside at Homeworth. He was engaged as a laborer on the car transfer and was on a train making a brake. The brake shaft broke as he was turning it and he was thrown down upon the track under the cars. His right leg was fractured below the knee; the chest was crushed and several ribs fractured, there was also a severe gash on the back of the head.
