REED, aged 60, died suddenly of heart Failure at his late home, 641 North Cherry Street, shortly after 10 o'clock Saturday night. Mr. REED had retired for the night but was troubled with shortness of breath. He arose and sat down in a chair, where he expired. A physician was summoned and death was attributed to heart disease. Although ill with bronchial trouble for over a year, Mr. REED was still active, and had been in the employ of the city as a sewer inspector. Surviving are a widow, Margaret REED and six children, the names of which follow: Walter, Ralph, Mark, Mrs. Ruth GELTZ, Mrs. Naomi HUDSON of Canton; Leo REED, of Denora, PA. The deceased was a member of the Trinity Reformed church and a teacher of the Sunday school. He was affiliated with Stark lodge, I.O.O.F. Patriarchs Militant, Knights and Ladies of Security and the National Insurance Union. Until about three years ago Mr. REED had been a traveling representative of the Bucher & Gibbs Plow company.
