The Cincinnati Commercial dated Monday Morning November 10, 1873
Suicide Mania
Knox, Ind. November 9- Elisha Wood , an old resident of Stark County, who 
resided six miles east of this place, committed suicide yesterday by cutting 
his throat with a razor.  He had been sick about three weeks. It is supposed 
he committed the horrible deed while in a state of despondency.  Deceased was 
about seventy years old.

I am not related to this person, just posting from what I like to collect, old 
newspapers.
