The Independent

   Leatha M. Newsom, of Canal Fulton, formerly of Massillon, died Monday, 
Dec.23, 2002 in Gaslight Villa Convalescent Center.
   Born June 13, 1912, in Logan, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Bert and 
Goldie (Harding) Jones and had lived in Massillon for most of her life.  She 
had worked as a sales clerk at Crosby's and Brockman Shoe Store in Massillon 
for 10 years.
   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sue 
Cruz, in 1996 and by two brothers.  
   She is survived by one daughter, Nancy Natoli, of Massillon; six 
grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Additional Comments:
Her brothers names were George Jones and John Jones.
