John G. Stephan, age 70, of 2681 Easton St. Northeast, North Canton, OH, died
Thursday in Canton, OH., of extended illness. He was a resident of Glenview for
the past 30 years, moving to North Canton in 1904. He graduated from Mount Union
College in 1937. He retired from Continental Grain Company in 1982. Survived by
his wife Evelyn of the home; daughter Mrs. Carol S. Boyd of Valparaiso, IN.; son
Robert C. Stephan, Houston, TX., grandchildren Deborah and Rebecca Boyd; brother
George Stephan, Syracuse, N.Y. Funeral services were held Saturday, in Canton,
OH., with burial in Ridgewood Cemetery in DesPlaines, IL. Memorial contributions
may be made to St. George Romanian Orthodox Church, Canton, OH. 216-499-6207.
