W. Burton Stoner, Jr., of 1062 Irvington Ave. N.E., operator of a real estate 
firm in Massillon the past 16 years, died suddenly in his residence Thursday 
night.  Mr. Stoner was the owner of the Burt Stoner, Jr. insurance agency.  
Born in Cincinatti, he resided in Massillon most of his life. He was a member 
of Grace Evangelical and Reformed Church. Other organizations to which he 
belonged included the Y's Men's club of the Massillon Y.M.C.A., Massillon 
aerie No. 190, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Massillon Moose Lodge No. 481, and 
Massillon Elks Lodge No. 441.  Besides his widow, Mrs. Clothilde W. Stoner, he 
is survived by 2 sons, Daniel B. and W. Burton Stoner, III, both at home; his 
parents Mr. and Mrs. W. Burton Stoner, Sr., of Massillon;  a sister, Mrs. 
Helen L. Wilten of Port Arthur, TX and a brother, Daniel L. Stoner of 
Massillon.  The funeral will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Gordon Shaidnagle-
 Hollinger Funeral Home with the Rev. W. Osborne Keeler, pastor of Grace 
church officiating.  Interment will be made in the Massillon Cemetery.  
Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

I found these old newspapers under some flooring I tore out of an old house.  
I am not related nor do I know anything else about this person.  I'm just an 
avid genealogist who thought I would share my found treasures with someone
