Mr. Stone, was found dead seated in a chair, was last seen alive at 1 pm. A resident of Canton since 1918, Mr. Stone retired two years ago. A native of Salem, Mr. Stone was a veteran of World War. I. He was the son of the late Stephen and Jane Stone, and was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Canton. He is survived by another brother, Darwin E Stone of Westville Lake and a sister, Mrs. Edith Flowers of Los Angeles, Calif. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Thursday at the Whitticar Funeral Home in Canton in charge of Rev. P.H. Welshimer, pastor of the First Christian Church of Canton. Friends may call from 7 to 9 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
