The Canton Repository.  Canton, Ohio.  Friday, September 24, 1948.
	Massillon – Herbert Wendling, 65, for many years a contractor in 
Massillon, died Thursday morning in Columbus, where he had been a contractor 
16 years.
	Besides his widow, Mrs. Violet Wendling, Mr. Wendling leaves one 
daughter, Mrs. Margaret Weisend of Phoenixville, Pa., one brother, Clarence 
Wendling of Canton, and two grandsons.
	The body has been brought to the Arnold-Lynch funeral home in 
Massillon where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.  Services 
will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with burial in Newman 
Cemetery.
