Riesen was stunned by the blow and fell to the floor of the engine cab. He was removed to an Arnold- Lynch ambulance when the train reached the Massilon station, Earl L. Wolfe, agent at the local office of the Pennsylvania railroad reported. An investigation into the cause of the accident will be made, Wolfe said. Riesen was taken to the Massilon city hospital where authorities said he told them he remembered nothing from the time of the accident until he arrived at the hospital. He had no knowledge of how the accident occurred, it was said. Hospital attendants reported his condition as apparently good.
