New Orleans Times-Picayune  November 1982
Wayne P. Slagle, on Friday November 12, 1982, at 4:30 p.m., beloved husband of 
Louise Brizzolara, son of the late Edna Mae Haas and Roland P. Slagle, father 
of Mrs. Lawrence F. (Lara) Falgoust, brother of Mrs. Bessie Moon, Mrs. Mary 
Lou Mayers, Charles and William Slagle and the late Hilda Mae Slagle; also 
survived by 3 grandchildren, nieces and nephews; age 67 years; a native of 
Ohio and a resident of St. Bernard Parish for the past 22 years.

Private funeral services were held from the St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 
7701 St. Bernard Hwy., Arabi, on Saturday, November 13, 1982. Interment in St. 
Bernard Memorial Gardens. A parishioner of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic 
Church.
