Born August 22, 1940, in Philippi, WV, graduate of Unidis High School, (1958), Clarksburg, WV, attended Wheeling School of Nursing and went back to school in 1988 to complete her BS in Nursing. Preceded in death by parents Paul Morgan Watson (1959) and Virginia Dare (Gawthrop) Watson (1991). Survived by loving husband, James E. Rogers; devoted daughters, Kim (Paul) Hilderbrant, Paula (Nick) Eyerman and Ginny (Keith) Schwartz; brother, Stephen (Nancy) M. Watson of Maryland; and step-son, Bob (Cheryl) Rogers of Florida. Pam was a proud "Nanny" to 10 grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Jacob, Olivia, Taylor, Matt, Kevin, Luke, Abbey, Andrea, and Aiden. Pam retired from Mt. Carmel Medical center in 2000 where she was a Surgical Nurse for 29 years, finishing her career as a Charge Nurse. While she loved her job, she also loved her retirement. She never had a boring moment and was always creating with projects ranging from small earrings to building a basement tool shop. She took pleasure in the bird and squirrel sanctuary she created in her backyard. Her talents included but were in no way limited to sewing, master woodworker, painting, jewelry making and spoiling her daughters. She loved taking trips to Cancun with her husband, weekend getaways with her daughters, camping, reading, shopping, Scrabble games, and just being surrounded by family. She was a member of the Northwest United Methodist Church, Columbus Ski Club, and Founder and Organizer of Mt. Carmel Medical Center Surgery Retirees Lunch Club. She was a great friend to many and always had such a positive outlook on life. Even after being diagnosed in March 2006 with a GBM brain tumor, she continued to live life fully without any regrets.
