F. Goodrich Co. and treasurer of the North Hill Savings & Loan Co., died Friday at his home. Mr. Ambler had been ill six weeks. A native of Bellaire, O., he came to Akron 31 years ago from Alliance. He worked at Goodrich 31 years and was a member of its Twenty-Year Club, Foremen's Club and Acacia Club. He also belonged to Mt. Akra Lodge 680, F. & A. M., and Yusef- Khan Grotto. He leaves his wife, Della: a daughter, Mrs. John G. Stephan of Chicago; a granddaughter, Carol Stephan; his stepmother, Mrs. Robert Ambler of Bellaire; two sisters, Mrs. Velma Reiley of Clarksburg, W. Va., and Mrs. Pearl Hill of Pittsburgh, and three brothers, Frank, of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Lester of Bellaire and John of Martins Ferry, O. Services will be held at 1 p. m. Monday at the Billow Funeral Home. Dr. James H. Sivard and Mt. Akra Lodge will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home tonight and Sunday.
