Akron Beacon Journal, Saturday May 5, 1928, p. 25

HOWARD - Bertha Elizabeth, age 22, residence 367 Spalding st., passed away 
Thursday p.m.  She leaves her husband, Lawrence; her mother, Mrs. John Hinkel; 
six sisters and one brother.  Funeral services will be held at the German 
Reformed church Monday, 2 p.m., Rev. Mr. Hagelskamp officiating.   Interment 
at Mt. Peace Cemetery. (Parks-Stiles Funeral Home, 127 W. Market st.)


Additional Comments:
Her death certificate says she died May 5, 1928.  There is inconsistency in 
this obituary as it states she died the previous Thursday, which would have 
been May 3, 1928.  There is credence to the May 3 date as it doesn't seem 
possible she could die on May 5 and have the obituary in the paper the same 
day.
