MARK BALOG
Mark Balog, 90, of 999 W. Wilbeth rd. died Monday in Edwin Shaw Hospital after 
a long illness.
Born in Hungary, Mr. Balog lived in Akron 65 years and worked 30 years for 
B.F. Goodrich until his retirement in 1944.  He was a member of Immaculate 
Conception Catholic Church and the Goodrich 20-Year Club.
He leaves three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Mass will be 9 p.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Church.  Burial will be 
in Holy Cross cemetery.
Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Prentice Kenmore Chapel, where 
friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Wednesday.

Additional Comments:
Mark Balog was widower of Agatha Varga, also born in Hungary.
Original Social Security Application show parents of Mark Balog as Janos 
(John) Balog and Agnes Tomasko of Hungary.  
The original spelling of Balog was Balogh.
