B-10 MARK BALOG Mark Balog, 90, of 999 W. Wilbeth rd. died Monday in Edwin Shaw Hospital after a long illness. Born in Hungary, Mr. Balog lived in Akron 65 years and worked 30 years for B.F. Goodrich until his retirement in 1944. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Goodrich 20-Year Club. He leaves three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Mass will be 9 p.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will be in Holy Cross cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Prentice Kenmore Chapel, where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Wednesday. Additional Comments: Mark Balog was widower of Agatha Varga, also born in Hungary. Original Social Security Application show parents of Mark Balog as Janos (John) Balog and Agnes Tomasko of Hungary.
