OBITUARY:

Henry F. Purdy
Henry F. Purdy, 69, South Vernon, died in the Akron City Hospital early this 
morning, after a few weeks' illness.
  He is survived by a son, Roy G. Purdy of Akron:  two daughters, Edna Purdy 
and Mrs. Bertha Wolford, both of Mt Vernon;  three brothers, A. D. Purdy of 
Deerfield, Mich., Albert of Waterford and Daniel of Fredericktown; and one 
sister, Mrs. Anna Cypher of Fredericktown.
  Funeral services will be held at the McCormick funeral chapel Friday 
afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Hugh Wyat officiating.  Burial will be
