McAdams home, it being the occasion of the marriage of their daughter, Lois to Mr. Zachariah Taylor. Rev. H. O. Allen performed the ceremony and the wedding march was played by Mrs. H.N.Wood. The house was prettily decorated and the corner where the ceremony took place was beautifully arranged in white and green, ferns and myrtle being the principal decorations. The bride was attired in a very becoming gown of old rose and white. The wedding presents were numerous and of great value and beauty. Shortly after the ceremony light refrehments were served in the dining room after which the guests were entertained by vocal solos rendered by Miss Caroline Fitch of Medina. Mr. and Mrs Taylor will reside on Division Street. They are well known young people in social and religous circles and have hosts of frends who wish them a happy and prosperous life. The out of town guests who attended the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. Colonel Henry C. Wilcox of Hinckley Oh. Mrs. Louise Tibbals, Julian Sneden of Medina, Horace Tibbals of Akron, Mrs Mary McAdams, Mr. Emmitt McAdams, Grace and Mary McAdams, Miss Orpha Peters of Cleveland, Will Smith of Chagrin Falls, Mr and Mrs L.E. Gaylor of Darrowville Mr. Leo McAdams of Mt. Vernon, John Getz of Kent, Miss Caroline Fitch of Medina, Miss Edith M. Lehman of Dayton, Mr and Mrs. Harry Humphrey, Miss Dora Warner and Samuel Zilliox of Akron. Additional Comments: Hudson Independent, Society News, April 15, 1910. Master Lyman E. Taylor of Cleveland visited his grandparents Mr. and Mrs Lyman H. McAdams a few days lat week before their removal to Orrville, Mr and Mrs Taylor coming down to spend the day.
