Dennis Meacham and Fannie (notice the names are spelled two ways in the bible) were both born in East Hartland, Connecticut, and both died in Mecca, Trumbull County, Ohio. Dennis' father, Isaac Meacham, was a Revolutionary War Soldier. I have a long history on the Meachams going back from Isaac (to Massachusettes)--I got it from LDS. Fannie's father was Asa Cowdery, also a Revolutionary War Soldier. I have that history, too. The soldiers were at Valley Forge with Washington. That information is in the Warren, Ohio, Library in a special collection. I don't know if all of Dennis' and Fannie's children are listed: Ira, Amoret, Abigail, and George, were probably theirs. George and Adaline lived their lives and died in Kinsman and Mecca, Trumbull County, Ohio. I don't know if all of their children were listed: Lucina Goodwin Meacham was their daughter. I don't know how Mehitable and Georgia Amorett were connected. If someone has this information, please contact me and clarify that. Lucina Meacham married Charles William Falkner, 16 July, 1891, at Jamestown, New York. They lived in Mecca, Ohio, and had four children. Charles was born 3 Dec, 1875, in Mecca. I have his history going back to 1700's (in England). Lucina died 7 April, 1903, after complications from a failed pregnancy; Charles died 8 Aug, 1944, after pneumonia. Their Greek Revival home still sits on the west side of the square in Mecca (as Jan, 2001) and is now part of the Historical District. The family store, built in 1828, sits on the south side of the Mecca square, and was called the Mecca Country Inn/Enzo's in the 1980's. (The building is haunted. Contact me for details.) I have a long list of their children & grandchildren, with names and dates. Contact me if you need to know. Carole
