W. J. VENN In the death of W. J. Venn, N. Bolomfield (sic), Ohio, which occured last October, The National Stockman lost a very devoted reader. Mr. Venn was a reader of your paper for fourty years, enjoying it from cover to cover. He always took a great interest int he Lewis B. Miller stories and enjoyed talking about them with his children, having seven daughters and two sons. Mr. Venn was born in Somersetshire, England, February 1 1848. On coming to Ohio in 1872, he and his bride settled on a farm in Trumbull County. On this same farm they lived and worked together for fifty-two years until the time of his death. I am enclosing snapshots of Mr. Venn and his home. Mr. Venn was a cripple for more than twenty years.
