Transcript (spelling as is, and not corrected): Stanford, 3rd m 5th 1856 (March 5, 1856) Dear Brother and Sister .. I take my pen to inform you that Father is verry feeble and sick and if you have any wish to see him again in this world come although he may get smart again but he is feebler than he ever has been before.
