Book Title: Letter

Short letter written by Samuel Wing (born circa 1821 in Stanford, Dutchess 
County, New York; died unknown) to his older brother, John Hull Wing (born 30 
Sept 1811 in Stanford, Dutchess County, New York; died 10 March 1881 in 
Trumbull County, Ohio), regarding the health of their father, Joseph Wing (born 
28 Aug 1783 in Falmouth, Barnstable County, Massachusetts; died after 1858 in 
Stanford, Dutchess County, New York).

Transcript (spelling as is, and not corrected):

Stanford, 3rd m 5th 1856 (March 5, 1856)

Dear Brother and Sister ..

I take my pen to inform you that Father is verry feeble and sick and if you 
have any wish to see him again in this world come although he may get smart 
again but he is feebler than he ever has been before.

In love I remaine yourr 
Samuel Wing

Brady Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania; died 2 March 1941 in Warren,
