Transcript on back of post card: Dorset March 9th [18]84 Dear Sister Lizzie: I thought I would write and let you know how we were getting along. Mother said you wanted to hear from us. We are well and have got a nice boy; he is six weeks old and our girl is three years old. We would like to see you and Seymore. It is not very far from there. You can come and see us. We hav got babbies and you have none, sou you can come [to] me easiest. Well it is bed time. I will write more the next time. Good by from your brother and sister. Nelson and Julia Wing Dorset, Ashtabula Co., Ohio NOTE: The author was Samuel Nelson Wing (born 16 Aug 1857 in Fowler Township, Trumbull County, Ohio; killed in a sawmill accident 19 June 1885 in Tracy, Erie County, Pennsylvania). His wife was Julia Burns (born about 1861 in Pennsylvania; death unknown). Their children were Blanch R. Wing (born circa 1881 in Jamestown, Mercer County, Pennsylvania; death unknown) and Wilbur Wesley Wing (born 25 Jan 1884 in Dorset, Ohio; death unknown). The addressee, Lizzie, was Elizabeth Jane (Wing) Perkins (born 20 Sep 1866 in Brady Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania; died 2 March 1941 in Warren, Trumbull County, Ohio) whose husband was Seymour Newel Perkins (born 7 May 1858 in Fowler, Trumbull County, Ohio; died 17 Dec 1944 in Warren, Trumbull County, Ohio).
