GEORGE HENRY ALBERTS
March 9, 1924-July 16, 1992

   Niles, Ohio - George Henry Alberts, 68, of 501 Garland Dr., Niles, 
Ohio, died at 2:24 p.m. Thursday, July 16, in Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
   He was born March 9, 1924, in Keokuk [IA], to Frank and Carrie 
Alberts.  He had worked for the National Gypsum as a machinist for 35 
years, retiring in 1968.  He was of the Epicopal Faith and had served in 
the Navy during World War II.
   He married Gertrude Cavanaugh on February 12, 1945.  She survives.
   Other survivors include: a daughter, Miss Trudy Alberts of the home; a 
sister and three brothers.
   He was preceeded in death by a sister.
   Services were scheduled for today at the Lane Funeral Home-Mineral 
Ridge Chapel.
