The Youngstown Telegram/Youngstown/Ohio August 12, 1904
Samuel Britton, a highly respected citizen of this place, died yesterday from 
the infirmities of old age.  Mr. Britton was born in Kingswood, England, 75 
years ago, coming to America about 39 years ago, having lived in the vicinity 
of Girard ever since.  The following children survive: Steven, Sam and Mrs. 
Anna Williams of Lawrence.  George of Church Hill, William and Mrs. Fred 
Parker of Girard.  The funeral will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m.

Additional Comments:
He was a coal miner living in the Church Hill area.
