Elizabeth M. Furbee

LEAVITTSBURG  Elizabeth M. Furbee, 71, of 5555 Eagle Creek Road, died Saturday 
at 1:50 a.m. in St. Joseph Riverside Hospital.

Born in Warren May 21, 1921, she was the daughter of Elton and Fannie May 
(Hines) Perkins.

She married Albert Furbee on July 3, 1937.

She attended Leavittsburg Church of God, and was a member of SCOPE of Warren.

Mrs. Furbee is survived by three sons, Alfred of Champion, Billy of Newton 
Falls, and Albert of Howland; six daughters, Mrs. Rex (Marilyn) Showers of 
Leavittsburg, Mrs. Jack (Shirley) Walden of Camden S.C., Mrs. Oliver (Donna) 
Ochsenbine of Warren, Mrs. Christian (Dorothy) Showers of Bristolville, Mrs. 
Wayne (Carole) Moorman, of Newton Township, Mrs. Burdette (Kim) Johnson, of 
Newton Falls; two sisters, Mrs. Pat Varner of Howland, and Mrs. Cora Brown of 
Richmond, Va.; 29 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren.

The funeral will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at McCardell White Funeral Home.  Burial 
will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.

Calling hours are Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
