Mrs. Susie S. Hines

Mrs. Susie Spencer Hines, wife of Calvin Hines, died at 11 o'clock Saturday 
night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Clarence Hauns, Nutwood.  Death 
resulted from complications, following five weeks’ illness.
Mrs. Hines was a native of Trumbull county and had spent her entire life here.  
She was born October 13, 1861.  She was a former resident of Gustavus and 
Dillworth.  For the past five years, she had made her home with her daughter.  
She was a member of the Pentecostal Mission.
Surviving are her husband; one son, George M. Spencer, Youngstown; seven 
daughters, Mrs. Minnie Fisher, Hawaiian Islands; Mrs. Jessie Richards, Mona, 
Pa.; Mrs. Ruth Pierce, Youngstown; Mrs. Fannie Perkins, Warren; Mrs. Hauns, 
Nutwood; Mrs. Mary Edwards, Youngstown; Mrs. Martha Poorbaugh, Rock Island; 
Tex.; one brother, Leroy Mayborn, of Cleveland; two sisters, Fannie Mayborn, 
Cuyahoga Falls; Mrs. Hattie Nickels, Riddle, Ore., and 21 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 o'clock Tuesday at the Hauns home.  Rev. 
Harold McKinney, pastor Full Gospel Church, Youngstown, will officiate.  
Interment will be in the Kinsman cemetery.

Susan May (Mayborn) Hines was born 13 Oct 1862 in New York, and died 30 Nov 
1929 in Nutwood, Trumbull County, Ohio. Calvin Smith Hines (born 6 Mar 1859 in 
Johnston, Trumbull County, Ohio; died 3 May 1934 in Fowler, Trumbull County, 
Ohio) was her second husband. She married her first husband, Robert Beach 
Spencer, on 30 Jan 1883 in Trumbull County, Ohio (his birth & death dates are 
unknown).
