Stricken In Auto, C. L. Perkins Dies

   Clyde L. Perkins, 61, MC 30, Champion Heights, who suffered a heart attack 
while at the wheel of his auto Thursday afternoon and rammed into a parked car 
on High NE, died in St. Joseph's Hospital at 10:55 p.m. Friday.
   Born in Vienna, O., May 13, 1885, the son of Seymour and Elizabeth Wing 
Perkins, he came to Trumbull County 25 years ago from Youngstown.
   He was employed as a machinist at the Packard Electric Plant for the past 
four years.  Mr. Perkins was a member of the Paynes Corners Christian Church.
   Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Eva Baker Perkins, whom he married in 1917, two 
sons Howard D., of Cortland, and Lyle E., of Champion, a brother, Paul, in 
Michigan and three grandsons.
   The body is at the Hall Funeral Home where services will be held at 2 p.m. 
Monday in charge of Rev. Ralph Johnson.  Burial will be in Champion Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.

Jan 1950 in Warren, Trumbull County, Ohio. He married Eva Baker about 1920 
which was his second marriage. He was first married to Florance Ellen Burns 
(born 22 Jun 1886 in Kinsman, Trumbull County, Ohio; death unknown) on 4 Mar 
1905 in Trumbull County, Ohio, and they had two children: Eva Luella Perkins 
(born 20 Sep 1907 in Kinsman, Trumbull County, Ohio; died May 1985 in West 
Springfield, Erie County, Pennsylvania) and Lloyd L. Perkins (born 1910 in 
Trumbull County, Ohio; death unknown).
