MINERAL RIDGE The funeral for Mrs. Eva B. Perkins, 92, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Champion Cemetery. Mrs. Perkins, of Glenn View Manor, Mineral Ridge, died of an extended illness at 9:10 p.m. Thursday in St. Joseph Riverside Hospital. She was born April 14, 1892, in Cambridge, the daughter of Charles Vernon and Mary Jane Baker. Formerly of Youngstown, Mrs. Perkins lived in the area 59 years. She was a cafeteria worker for Champion Schools for 12 years, before retiring in the early 1960s. She was a member of Champion Presbyterian Church for 50 years, the Ladies Aid Society of the church, the Blue Star Mothers and V.I.P., both in Champion. She also enjoyed quilting and crocheting. She was preceded in death Jan. 13, 1950, by her husband, Clyde Perkins, and by a son, Howard. She is survived by one son, Lyle Perkins of Niles, and six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. The family has asked that material tributes take the form of contributions to Champion Presbyterian Church in her memory. Additional Comments: Eva B.
