Bartholomew, Jacob, 28 Dec 1843, Mesopotamia, 76y, formerly of Bristol CT. Bascom, Henry B. of Va. Died?? on the way West. Rev. in Methodist Episcopal Church. Baughton, Eli T. , 27 Feb 1861, died 15 Feb, 74y9m, born Danbury, CT, 29 May 1786, apprenticed to Daniel Foot, a tailor, married 25 May 1807 to Julia Mygatt, 4th dau of Comfort S. Mygatt. Moved to Canfield in 1808, Julia died 25 May 1813 leaving 3 children. He married 2nd 22 May 1815, Mrs. Jerusha Church, widow of Ensign Church, Jerusha had 2 dau's by Ensign. One is Mrs. Eben Newton, the other died young. Eli has son George Baughton of Burton, a dau Charlotte and her son the wife and son of R.P. Buckland and a granddaughter Mrs. Julia Estep of Cleveland. He has another dau Mrs Stiwell of Fremont, and son Charles in PA with the Congregational Society.
