                        AMOS FAMILY

Christopher Amos was born in 1798 and died in 1861 at 63 years of age. He
is buried near Strasburg, Ohio. Christopher and wife (?) came to America
circa 1825. They had four known sons, John, Philip, Frederick and Christ.
Upon arriving in the United States from Bavaria they settled in New York,
then proceeded to Tuscarawas County, Ohio and settled on a farm near
Strasburg, Ohio. Sons, Christ and Frederick went to Minnesota and John
migrated to Indiana.

Christ Amos married ? and had: Katherine, Richard, Christ, Mary, Barbery,
Benna and Hannah.

Fred Amos married ? and had: Daniel, Hannah, Christ, Frank and Phoebe.

John Amos married ? and had: Herman, Susan, Nancy, Lucinda and Ellen.

Philip Amos b. 1821 in Wittenburg, Bavaria. To America at age 4. Citizen
September 26, 1842, Tuscarawas County, Ohio at age 21 years. Philip d. 1869
and is buried in Strasburg, Ohio. He m. Margaret Moyers b. 1822 PA,
daughter of Fred Moyers. Margaret m. 2nd Jacob Schneider and she d. 1902.
Margaret and Jacob are both buried in Strasburg, Ohio.

Philip and Margaret had:
 -Pauline Regina b. June 20, 18??, d. February 27, 1907, m. John Casper
  Kuemerle b. 1840 d. 1909. They had 12 children. Buried, Dover, Ohio.
 -John b. April 13, 1846 and d. May 13, 1931
 -Christian b. January 13, 1848 and d. August 18, 1927
 -Mary Magdalene b. July 3, 1850 and d. April 1, 1917
 -Philip b. February 23, 1853 and d. October 3, 1943
 -Frederick b. October 11, 1856 and d. March 31, 1931
 -Margaret b. February 9, 1860 and d. march 22, 1947
 -Elizabeth b. June 19, 1864 and d. April 26, 1951
 -Catherine b. December 12, 1866 and d. March 31, 1925

Margaret and Jacob had no children.
