Battey & Co., 1882 SAMUEL OLMSTED is a native of Tuscarawas County, Ohio, and came to this county November 15, 1865, settling in Bloomfield Township, where he lived until October, 1875, when he removed with his family to Clay Township, where he now resides. During the ten years of his residence in Bloomfield Township, he was occupied in running an old-fashioned water-power saw-mill, and put in more hours per day during four months of the year than any other man in the township. He was married to Miss Mary Showalter, November 30, 1865, and has two children -Forest Foster and Allie Alma, aged respectively seven years and eight months. Mr. Olmsted owns a fine farm, consisting of eighty acres of enriched land. Mr. Olmsted is now fulfilling his duties as Township Trustee, to which office he was elected April 5, 1880. *************OH-FOOTSEPS Mailing List***************************
