NCT Resident Is Dead From Heart Attack on Friday

Rachel Ann Barthalow, 75, River St. Newcomerstown, died at 11:30 pm Friday
following a heart attack suffered at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Harry Tyler,
W. Main St. Mr. and Mrs. Tyler were away from the home at the time and were
recalled by a grandson, Dicky Yanai who was in the house.  The deceased was born
Nov. 12 1865, the daughter of David and Margaret Gadd of the Newcomerstown
vicinity.  On Jan. 17, 1884 she was united in marriage with Alvin Barthalow. 
Her husband and three children preceded her in death.  Three other children
survive as follows; Frank Bartholow of Coshocton, Mrs. Margaret Tyler and Cecil
Bartholow of Newcomerstown.  One brother David Gadd of Newcomerstown route 2, 12
grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive.  Mrs. Bartholow was a
member of College st M. E. church. Funeral arrangement have not been completed.
