Coshocton Tribune August 8, 1962 
Mrs. Clarence Carr, 67, died at her home on Mulvane st., Newcomerstown, at 
11am Tuesday following an extended illness. Born June 14, 1895, in Jackson 
county, Tillie Allen was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Allen, and was 
married Feb. 14, 1925 to Mr. Carr, who survives. She was a member of the 
Broadway Methodist church in Cleveland. Surviving in addition to the husband 
are a stepdaughter, Mrs. John Milburn of Newcomerstown; stepson, Jeff Carr, 
Denver Colo.; a brother, Daniel Allen of East Canton; a sister, Mrs. Anna 
Hixon of Cambridge, seven step grandchildren and two step great-
grandchildren.  Burial will be in the State st. cemetery.
