Coshocton Tribune June 18, 1973 
Kenneth C. Carr, 63, of 841 Locust Ave. Zanesville, died at 1:25pm Saturday at 
Good Samaritan Medical Center, where he had been a patient since March. He was 
born Nov. 16, 1909 in Zanesville, a son of the late John G. and Bertha 
Fletcher Carr, both formerly of Newcomerstown. Mr. Carr was retired 
metallurgist at the Armco Steel Corp. and was a World War II veteran. He was a 
member of the First Christian Church and the American Legion. Surviving are 
the step-mother, Mrs. Mildred Decker Carr, of the home; step-sister, Mrs. 
Robert Dietrich, Newcomerstown; three step-brothers, Eugene and Robert Decker, 
Newcomerstown, and Lewis Decker, Canton; two nephews and one niece, Columbus; 
two cousins, Mrs. John Milburn and Mrs. Ovel Beiter, and an Aunt, Mrs. Robert 
Chapman, all of Newcomerstown. One brother, Ralph Carr is deceased. Services 
will be held at 1:30pm Wednesday at the Hillis Funeral Home in Zanesville. 
Burial will be in the State Street Cemetery, Newcomerstown.
