Man Dies Near Newcomerstown At Age 72 -  John Hamilton Davis, Sr., 72, died at
11 a.m. Sunday at his home six miles south of Newcomerstown from heart disease.
He had been in ill health two years and bedfast two weeks.  He is survived by
his widow, Louise, two daughters, Mrs. Lillie Alloway of Newcomerstown and Mrs.
Beal Curby of Bernice, two sons, John Jr. of near Newcomerstown and Howard A. of
Carson, Ia; nine grand-children and seven great-grandchildren.   Funeral
services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at King's U.B. church of which he was
a member in charge of Rev. F.W. Langwell of Newcomerstown. Burial will be in the
church cemetery. Short services will be held at the home at 1:30 p.m.   Mr.
Davis was born near Port Washington March 3, 1860, a son of the late Rufus and
Prudence Davis.

Son of Rufus King & Prudence Priscilla (Hagan) Davis. Husband of Loisa Elizabeth
(Stocker).
