Coshocton Tribune

Charity E. Gadd, 92, West Lafayette Care Center, formerly of Newcomerstown, died
at 4:13pm Saturday at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital following a short
illness. Born Sept. 19, 1888 in Isleta, she was the daughter of David Zimmer and
Sarah Ellen Littick. She was married to Clarence Gadd who died in 1958. she was
a member of the First Baptist Church of Newcomerstown, where she served on the
Seagrave Circle. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Edward (Mary) Hendrick, and
Mrs. Harold (Laura) McCormick, both of West Lafayette; four sons, Clavis C. of
Sacramento, Calif.; Clarence Jr. of Columbus, Ermil R. and Lester Z. both of
Newcomerstown; 17 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Three sons and two
daughters preceded her in death. Funeral services will be 1pm Tuesday at the
Ourant Funeral Home in Newcomerstown with the Rev. Donald Glasgow officiating.
Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery.
