Elmer Grewell
   NEWCOMERSTOWN - Elmer D. Grewell, 81, of RD1 West Lafayette, a retired
employee of Heller Tool Co. and a member of Isleta United Methodist Church, died
Sunday in Coshocton Memorial Hospital. He had been a patient there one day.
   He was born in Washington township and was a son of Anthony and Viola
Chadwell Grewell.
   Surviving are his widow, Margaret Anna Myers Grewell to whom he was married
in 1919; his step-mother, Mrs. Bessie Grewell of here; three sons and four
daughters, Edward and W. Wayne Grewell and Mrs. Aaron (Mary) Swank of here,
Elmer, Mrs. Gail (Violet) Myers and Mrs. Anna Thomason of West Lafayette and
Mrs. Edith Cornell of Urhana; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Hunt of here, a half-brother
and three half-sisters: Anthony Grewell Jr. and Mrs. Audrey Williams of here,
Mrs. Ethel Kail of Port Washington and Mrs. Barbara Stockum of Coshocton; 20
grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.  Four brothers and three sisters are
deceased.
   Friends may call Tuesday from 2:30 to 4 and 7 to 9 at Ourant Funeral Home
where services will be Wednesday at 1pm.  Rev. Robert Ford will officiate and
burial will be in Pleasant View Baptist Cemetery.

   Elmer D. Grewell, West Lafayette Route 1, who died June 3, leaving his
spouse, Margaret Anna Grewell, of the same address, as the sole beneficiary and
executrix of his will.
