She had been in ill health for two years. Elsie B. Carr was born November 22, 1900, in Coshocton county, a daughter of Mrs. Lillie Green Carr, this city, and the late Elias Carr. She was married June 21, 1930, to Carl Jackson, who survives. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Methodist church. Besides her husband and mother, survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Roy Vernon, Zanesville Route 5; two brothers, Hugh Carr, Coshocton and Baxter Carr, Palermo, Calif., and two grandchildren. Two sisters are deceased. Services will be held at 2pm Monday at the Pleasant Grove Methodist church in charge of Rev. Dale Childers and Rev. Richard McNeish. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
