Willis S. Johns, 59, retired from the U. S. Air Force, who died at St. Petersburg, Fla., last Monday, will be held at 2pm Saturday at Ourant Funeral Home, Newcomerstown, in charge of Rev. John Hoesman. Burial will be in Union Cemetery at Port Washington. Full Military rites will be held at the grave. Col. Johns was born Oct. 25, 1910, at Conesville, Coshocton County, a son of J. Edward and Lillian Adams Johns. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy R. Johns; two sons, Jeffrey and Erick Johns, both of St. Petersburg; four brothers, Harold of Emlenton, Pa.; Marvin of Pleasantville, N. C., Curtiss of Port Washington and Paul of Newcomerstown; two sisters, Mrs. Lloyd Farrar and Mrs. Herbert Gates, both of Newcomerstown, and a grandchild. A brother and sister are deceased.
