Coshocton Tribune

Services for Raymond R. Ridgley, 65, who died Tuesday at his home, 735 East
State St., Newcomerstown, will be held at 2pm Friday at the Newcomerstown Church
of Christ Evangelist David Reppard will officiate and burial will be in
Greenwood cemetery, Byesville. A retired machinist at the Heller Tool Co.
Newcomerstown, he was born Dec. 24, 1897, in Morgan county, a son of Carlos and
Arminta Henry Ridgley, and was married to Ethel Craft, who died April 9, 1951.
On Feb. 6, 1953, he was married to Beatrice Atkinson, who survives. He was a
member of the Newcomerstown Church of Christ. Survivors besides his wife include
a son, William Ridgley, Newcomerstown; a step-son, Paul D. Atkinson, Eatontown,
N. J.; five brothers, Cecil, Harold and Donald, Byesville, Orten of Pleasant
City and Hubert of New Castle, Pa; two sisters, Mrs. William Meighen, Cambridge
and Miss Myrtle Ridgley, Byesville, tow grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren.
