Coshocton Tribune October 7, 1955
Mrs. Altha Snedeker, 63, of 108 North High st. Roscoe, died at County Memorial 
hospital at 4:30am Friday of a cerebral hemorrhage following an extended 
illness. Altha Mabel Carr was born in Clinton, Iowa, Sept. 21, 1892, a 
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elias G. Carr. Mrs. Snedeker was a Pretty Products 
employe for 10 years and a life long member of the Roscoe Methodist church. 
Surviving are six sons. Byron B., 831 Denman ave., Paul J., 1121 Oak ave., 
Vernon E., Plainfield road, Gerald C., 205 High st., Roscoe, James B. of the 
home and Charles W. of Chicago; one daughter, Eva R. Snedeker, Second st., 
Roscoe; one sister, Mrs. Elsie Jackson, Zanesville Route 5; two brothers, 
Baxter Carr, California and Hugh Carr, Coshocton, and 10 grandchildren, 
Stepmother, Mrs. Lillie Carr, 365 South Ninth St. One daughter is deceased.  
Funeral services will be held Sunday at the Roscoe Methodist church with Rev. 
Donald Adams officiating. Burial will be in South Lawn cemetery.
