Coshocton Tribune November 16, 1964
Nelle Stoffer, 82, died Saturday at 11:30 pm at the home of a grandson, Jack 
Stoffer, Newcomerstown Route 3.  A daughter of James and Eliza Tidrick Carr, 
she was born September 21, 1882, in the Newcomerstown vicinity.  On July 11, 
1912 she was married to John G Stoffer, who died March 27, 1958.  Surviving 
are one son, Darrell, Newcomerstown; one brother, Harry Carr, Coshocton; the 
grandson at whose home she died, a granddaughter, Mrs. Nancy Hoffman, 
Newcomerstown, and two great-grandchildren.  Two brothers and one sister are 
deceased.  Mrs. Stoffer was a charter member of the Newcomerstown Baptist 
Church and was also affiliated with the WCTU.  Rev. Fred Wakeling and Rev. 
George Shurtz will conduct services at the Addy funeral home, Newcomerstown, 
Tuesday at 2pm.  Burial will follow in West Lawn cemetery, Newcomerstown.
