Written: September 16, 1886

"In the name of the Benevolent father of all I Thomas Grewell of Washington
Township Tuscarawas County Ohio being of sound mind and memory do make and
publish this last will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say
 
Article 1st It is my will that all my just debts and funeral expenses be fully paid


Article 2nd It is my will that all my property both real and personal be
converted into money by my Executor, either at public or private Sale whom I
shall appoint in this instrument 

Article 3rd It is my will that my beloved wife Phebe Grewell receive one third
of the proceeds of all my property in money of my Executor 

Article 4th It is my will that Emma Sawyer who now lives with me receive two
hundred dollars out of the proceeds of my property 

Article 5th It is my will that all the Balance of the proceeds of my property be
equally divided between my sons Ezekial Grewell Daniel Grewell Samuel Grewell
Elijah Grewell and my daughters Mary E. Murphy wife of T. J. Murphy and Nancy
Barkust wife of Benjamin Barkust 

And Lastly I hereby Constitute and appoint Josiah Murphy Executor of this my
last will and testament revoking and annulling all former wills by me made, and
ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament in
witness where of I have hereunto set my hand this 16th day of September A. D. 1886

Testament in presence of us who at his request have singed as Witnesses to the same
