clipping from my grandmothers collection
   Marion Lutrelle Graham, son of Mr. & Mrs.C. M. Graham, was born September 19,
1868 and departed this life March 27, 1924, aged 55 years, 6 months and 5 days.
   He has always lived at the old home near Watkins, where he was born. When but
14 years old he was stricken with sickness and has been an invalid ever since.
Bedfast so many years, then he grew strong enough to enjoy a wheel chair. But
for nearly 42 years he has never walked.
   Though his lot seemed hard to bear, yet he never complained and was of a
cheerful disposition. Christmas day was the last that he was in his chair. Since
then he has been bedfast and suffered a great deal until his death. When his
health permitted it, he spent much of his time as an artist.
   He was a close observer of nature and loved the outdoors. He will be greatly
missed in his home and community at large.
   He united with the Christian church at Watkins ad enjoyed the fellowship of
God's people.In his last weeks of sickness he leaned hard upon God's promises.
   He leaves a mother, three sisters and two brothers to mourn his death.
